On August 3, 2022 we officially relaunched U.S. Water Heating Solutions Southern Division, thanks to one of our newest team members, Aaron! We temporarily suspended a portion of our Southern Division services earlier this year, including those in Tennessee, when our local team members sought other opportunities. With so many changes and struggles, we went back to the drawing board with our team members and started refining our internal processes with hopes of re-establishing our southern services by 2023. By chance, then Georgia-based plumber Aaron was looking to relocate from to Tennessee, and the rest is history!
Aaron joined our team in early July and spent about a month in Illinois training on everything from residential to tankless water heater repair, and even assisted on commercial water heater installations, alongside our local Senior Water Heater Service Technicians. His time in Illinois was also beneficial as
he had the opportunity to work alongside our field and office staff, both as a learning service technician and a company representative in our first ever branding photography and videography session! He also had the opportunity to attend a softball game for our locally sponsored Mt. Prospect Park District Recreation League team.
Aaron has eight years of professional service plumbing experience. His background includes a vast array of water heater repair experience: residential tank type water heater repair, tankless water heater diagnosis and repair, water heater installation, and more! In the last few years especially, he has done extensive work with Rinnai tankless water heaters, from preventative maintenance to onsite diagnosis and repair.
Aaron’s personal goals include advancing as far as possible in the plumbing field, eventually becoming a licensed master plumber and/or plumbing inspector. Within his first year at U.S. Water Heating Solutions, he hopes to spearhead the development of our Southern Division in Tennessee and provide the best quality plumbing services in the greater Chattanooga area. Long term, Aaron would like to become a
Local Field Staff Supervisor, training new employees and assisting in field management tasks (i.e., providing technical support, hands-on training, service plumbing training, etc.), in a company leadership role. In his previous endeavors, Aaron has held project manager and staff supervisor positions, thanks to his high-quality workmanship and ability to learn quickly.
While we continue to support Aaron and grow our reputation as a high quality water heater repair service in Chattanooga, we are also proud to offer a vast array of Tennessee-exclusive plumbing services: appliance and fixture installation, leak repairs, clogged drains, and more!
In addition to Aaron’s strong service plumbing background, he is also a firm believer in supporting local businesses and participating in the community. Although he is a newer resident in Tennessee, he is no stranger to the state as he has been visiting family in Tennessee all his life. Some of his favorite local restaurants in Chattanooga include: The Pickle Barrel and Scottie’s on the River; his favorite local hardware store in Soddy-Daisy (a quick drive just north of Chattanooga): Floyd Hardware.
With both supporting local businesses and fostering community being so important to Aaron, U.S. Water Heating Solutions has joined the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce and he is our local acting representative. In fact, he participated in his very first chamber event called AM Networking a few weeks ago and met a lot of wonderful folks (so many that he handed out nearly all of his temporary business cards)! When asked about his interest in joining the chamber, Aaron noted: “I wanted to be a member in order to connect with my community and build relationships. I look forward to getting involved in my community and promoting local business.”
Community building also goes beyond our Chattanooga Area Chamber membership. We are also a proud sponsor of the second annual Soddy-Daisy Fall Festival and Great Pumpkin Chase 5K, organized by the non-profit organization Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful (KSDB). KSDB aims to preserve the natural beauty of Tennessee via community cleaning projects and educationals, while supporting local residents via fundraising efforts. The proceeds from this year’s Fall Festival will benefit the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial Hospital. Aaron will be participating in the Fall Festival at a booth and is looking forward to having a chance to meet more folks in Soddy-Daisy: “I was extremely excited [when we decided to sponsor this event]! I have been visiting Soddy-Daisy my whole life, growing up. I have family that has been living there for a long time. [Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful] is important to me because I think it’s crucial that we keep the natural beauty of Tennessee as pristine as for future generations.”
The Soddy-Daisy Fall Fest has passed! We hope to see you next year!
Outside of Aaron’s career development goals, he is an outdoorsman and animal lover. He enjoys spending his time hunting, fishing, and kayaking with his family; additionally, Aaron and his fiancée take in-state trips to hike the Smoky Mountains with their dogs.
