  • What happens if my unit's issue is not covered by warranty?

    If your unit's issue is not covered by warranty, the technician will inform you of the diagnosis and provide repair options, if possible. Depending on the manufacturer of your unit, you may also become response for the cost of the service call fee, even if your unit is not repairable.

  • What happens if the manufacturer doesn't send parts?

    If the manufacturer does not send you a warranty replacement part, our technician will check their service vehicle for the part. In the event that they have the part in stock, they will repair your unit. If they do not have the part in stock they will order the part from the manufacturer.

  • What happens if the tech doesn't have the part(s)?

    If the technician does not have the part required to repair your unit we will attempt to find the part locally, but in most cases we will have to order the part direct from the manufacturer. 

  • Why do you require a card on file for A.O. Smith warranty service?

    We require a card on file for A.O. Smith warranty customers (even with a warranty authorization for labor + parts) in the event that the issue with your unit is not covered under warranty. Your card will not be charged for warranty services.
